Khao Lak Maternity Session

I haven’t blogged (or posted on social for that matter) in a loooong time, let’s just say before the world turned upside-down. This session (with two of Nek and I’s best friends) is actually the first one I’ve done since moving to Khao Lak! I’m not taking on photo sessions anytime soon, though this is just a ‘for fun’ one that I wanted to share. These two beautiful people have become really great friends of ours since moving here to Khao Lak and we actually me because Toon is a florist and we are planning to have her help us with our own wedding…. whenever that happens. So if you’re in need of a great (the best, really!) florist in Khao Lak, Phang Nga when travel opens up again, Toon from Me Style Flower is your woman.

Moonstone Samui Wedding: Ali + Leeron

I’m excited to share some beautiful images from Ali + Leeron’s beautiful wedding on Koh Samui. Ali + Leeron met in summer camp 7 years ago. Both of them have had trips to Thailand, Ali even used to live in Bangkok, so Koh Samui felt like a natural choice to bring their closest family together to celebrate their love. I’m so thankful to have been a part of their special day and witnessed, capture (and cried!), being their wedding photographer on Samui. Mini Bar Koh Samui Beach Proposal: Yonela + Didi

Yonela contacted Nek and I through our Facebook Page and said he wanted to plan a simple but perfect afternoon to propose to his girlfriend, Didi. After getting most of the logistics planned out, he asked me to photograph the proposal as well. This was out first self planned proposal at the bar and I’m so happy with how beautiful everything turned out! Didi was over the moon (and said yes!) and thought it was the perfect place for them, being a relaxed and chilled out couple, it suited them just right. Venue: Mini Bar on Chaweng Beach

I was excited for this wedding so many reasons. Most importantly Alec + Kenny’s attention to detail and care about the day and all the effort they put in made me know that this would be an awesome day to remember. So much love went all around on the day and I feel super lucky to get to be a part of such a wonderful day. Alec + Kenny, thank you so much for having me there to capture your day! Koh Phangan Lifestyle Honeymoon Photos

I enjoyed every minute of going over to Koh Phangan to photograph this special honeymoon. My clients were such a lovely couple (they asked me not to share their names). We met up on Haad Rin where they were staying and took some photos in the beach there, then went to a few other locations on the island for some different scenery. We were so lucky to get a beautiful bright sunny day, and it looked like it was going to pour down at one stage on the South West side of the island as a huge storm came rolling in, but it missed us and went to the next beach over instead! My clients and I loved spending this day together and I feel so lucky to get to share in memories of this mini adventure together with them. 🙂 Location: Koh Phangan

Waleed wanted to propose to his girlfriend Luisa on Koh Samui with a beautiful relaxed + romantic beach setting for just the two of them and contacted Jacqui of Samui Wedding and Events who helped him create this beautiful set up at Sea Dance Resort that you’ll see below. Proposal are THE MOST nerve wreaking thing for me as a photographer (and my clients, obviously!), as it’s usually such a quick thing to try and capture just right, especailly if there are fireworks of some kind of lighting display added! Fitness Lifestyle Session: Amanda

Late last year, I worked on a collaboration shoot with an awesome friend of mine, Amanda and Minali. They both used to live on Samui (but have since done their separate ways to Australia and the US) with me and we would always meetup and go to fitness classes together, or do something active. I loved being around positive inspiring women, always ready to give you a positive boost whenever I needed! I really loved working with them on the collaboration and I loved all of the images so I wanted to share them here with you on the blog. Introducing CMW Lifestyle + Product Photography

Good Morning! I haven’t posted an update on my blog in a while because I’ve been working on some exciting things. I’ve decided to take CMW Photography in a new direction and am super excited to announce that I’m now offering lifestyle as well as product photography! I wanted to branch back out into what got me excited about photography in the first place, and that’s the ability to be more creative with it and MAKE images instead of capture them! I’m super excited to start sharing some of the work that pulls at my heart, especially since I started getting more into health and fitness a couple of years ago. YL Residence Wedding : Yao + Wei

They met when they were both studying at university in the US, and it seemed like their stories were meant to intertwine. 6 years later and they’re getting married! Being from different parts of China, they wanted to celebrate they wedding closer to their families but still far enough to ensure a good holiday week for every one of their friends and family.  Yao and Wei decided to include the Chinese wedding games and the tea ceremony as part of their big day and I just loved witnessing their love for one another throughout the day.
