Krystal and Daniel are two of the most laid back and relaxed people I’ve met, and I think their wedding day reflected that part of their personalities perfectly.
I was lucky enough to meet up with them last time I was in Melbourne with Nek in November last year, we all had dinner in the Docklands and laughed a whole lot! So I was so excited to get to spend more time with them on their wedding day!
They chose the Elements Boutique Resort as their wedding venue, and it was so lovely there on the day. The resort is situated in the South-West corner of the island in Phangka, Taling Ngam. It’s such a beautiful, quiet location… one of the coolest places to have a wedding!
Here’s how the day started:
Krystal chose the cutest colourful dresses for her bridesmaids, I love them!
Krystal had the talented Polina + her team to do her hair and makeup + she was so happy with it… wait ’til you see her below!
Don photographed the boys getting ready in a different style…
I seriously love this photo that Don took of Daniel! So cool!
The girls were just as excited as Krystal 🙂
Sooner that you know, it’s time!
Krystal entrusted Carter and his team at Samui Beach Weddings for their wedding planning and styling, and they did an amazing job! Krystal and Daniel were so happy with his everything turned out 🙂
Krystal’s mum and grandmother helped her into her dress… 3 generations. <3 You can just tell, family means everything to these two lovely people.
Daniel was…. nervous/excited/stretching? Not too sure here, haha!
Uhhhh… these women are so beautiful!
They had a baby elephant for their friends and family to get some photos with after the ceremony, it was very cute.
Such a pretty cake 🙂
We went out to a sandbar in the sea to get some nice intimate bride and photos.
I don’t know why, but I really love this photo of Krystal. You can tell she’s just taking a moment to let it all sink in + enjoy her day! Totally my kind of bride 🙂
<3
After their stunning sunset, we let off a lantern for good luck as dusk.
Krystal and Daniel’s laid back wedding + reception totally reflects their personalities. They didn’t have a care in the world throughout the whole day other that for their friends and family to have a good time. They had a chill out area with beanbags on the beach.
And the D-floor was made of sand… 😀
First Dance <3 <3 <3
Simon of Koh Samui Events put on some good tunes and got everyone moving 😉
Now, this was one of the photos that Daniel wanted and mentioned at our first meeting in Melbourne… we’ve come full circle and made it happen! Krystal and Daniel are perfect for each other + she’s lucky to have such a romantic guy by her side.
And then, just before it was time for us to leave, the moon came out.
I hope you all enjoyed this blog post as much as I did writing it! 🙂
