These two people are two of the kindest souls + sweetest couples. Let Met tell you a bit about them…
Kerry and Mark met at a mutual friends’ party and became friends. Mark decided he liked Kerry early on and she knocked him back at first. Although Kerry says it was a “strategic knock back” haha. They stayed friends and went on a group holiday with some friends to Penang, Malaysia and it was there that he finally won her over. Very good strategy, Kerry, scoring a first date in Malaysia! 😉
They got married at Villa Riva after Alexa showed them around last year, they knew it would be perfect for their more intimate wedding party with their friends and family.
They decided to have their ceremony on the platform down by the beach, so Alexa drew this sign… such a multitalented lady 🙂
Villa Riva has so many pretty nooks and crannies everywhere you look there’s a photo op!
Kerry chose there stunning dresses for her bridesmaids, so flowy and they went with her dress perfectly!
Meanwhile Don was off photographing the boys and their “Happy Socks” which were such a fun idea! I loved them! I was lucky enough to spend some time together with Kerry and Mark before their wedding, so by the time their wedding day came around, I was warming to Mark’s sense of humour – which is AWESOME, by the way!
Kerry had decided to have Polina and her team do her hair and makeup, and she did an amazing job!

Their guests headed upstairs to enjoy some canapes for cocktail hour while I spent some time with the brida party.

I have to say it didn’t take much to get these women looking so pretty! All natural! <3
I loved Kerry and her bridesmaids’ hairstyles… so perfectly beachy.

Now let me first say Kerry and Mark are quite the camera-shy couple… although you wouldn’t guess that in a billion years from these photos! Which is why we decided to head off to a nearby location with heaps o’ palms for some more inimate bride and groom photos so we could all fully enjoy ourselves and the moment. I’m so happy we did this, because… just wait and see the result!
I just couldn’t get over how awesome this sunset was!
Adorable couple. Like I said! I missed them as soon as I’d left the wedding reception at the end of the night, seriously!

Then we headed back to Villa Riva for Kerry and Mary to freshen up and spend some time with their friends and family before the reception began. I was greeted by this awesome scene of pretty put together by Alexa and Samui Dream Lights.

At dusk, we released some lanterns for luck 😀
And got a free firework display from somwhere nearby, hehe!
Kerry and Mark don’t actually live together, they are close to a 3 hour drive away from each other during the week, but they love to spend weekends in each others’ arms at their shared home in Perth.
One thing about Mark is he can make Kerry laugh so easily, it’s infectious to be around, she completely lights up and Mark just smiles knowing he’s making her happy! 🙂
First official dance as husband and wife!! Eeee! 🙂
