Emily, this place suits you too well, I could tell from the second time we accidentally ran into each other in the Nature Art Gallery, you had a hibiscus in your hair and looked like you were glowing! You fall into the pace here so quickly and the chilled vibe just exudes from you and Greg!
Greg told me they had met 15 years ago and were introduced, in the end, by mutual friends. He was the last to get to know Emily, but clearly the one to love her for everything she is. Greg is definately a lucky man, Emily is the kind of woman you’d want by your side. She’s down to earth, kind and soft spoken but will tell it like it is. Being together for 14 years builds a bit of pressure on trying to propose to the woman of your dreams, and Greg had to try his third time lucky until he could finally pop the question… but that’s a story you’ll have to get Greg to tell you. I can’t do it justice, it’s way more hilarious when he explains it 😉
Emily and Greg, I feel so honoured to have been chosen as your wedding photographer on Koh Samui, the place you both call your second home. So thank you for letting me photograph the most important day and share it with you.
Emily and Greg’s beautiful wedding was held at Ama Lur (Formerly known as The Palace) in Thong Krut, a beautiful quiet fishing village on the South Coast of Koh Samui. Although it rained while Emily and Greg were getting ready, the clouds parted just in time for their ceremony to happen on the beach.
Once Emily was in her beautiful
Luci DiBella wedding dress she had everyone gasping at the beauty. That dress is seriously stunning, woman! You looked so beautiful in it.
Emily and Greg chose Natalie of
Partners to help plan and decorate their wedding, and what a beautiful job she did! Part of the theme was to incorporate pink lotus flowers, as Emily loves them!
Emily’s pink lotus boquet was gorgeous, and went perfectly with everything that day, including her
Steve Madden shoes 🙂
I loved the lotus flowers in the pond on either side of the walkway entering the villa and really, really couldn’t get over the gorgeous details on Em’s
Luci DiBella dress!
Greg cleaned up pretty well on the day, and looked so happy to finally be getting to see Em walking down the aisle towards him 🙂
Emily and Greg have actually been coming to Samui for 7 years now, and Greg actually proposed here on Samui as well, so it was natural for them to both choose this island for their intimate destination wedding. They spent the days leading up to the wedding celebrating their Hens and Bucks nights with close friends and basically having a ball.
I am so happy to have gotten to know and photograph Greg and Emily, they were such a breeze to work with, and it doesn’t hurt that they were Aussies as well, it’s great to hear some Australian humour on a wedding day!
I think this photo sums up their true happiness of FINALLY becoming husband and wife 😉
Ohhhh Em, you are so gorgeous!
Natalie did an absolutely amazing job at decorating this wedding, all the details are stunning.
Greg loved the fireshow, and I have to admit.. it ended with a bang 😉
They also opted to have a waterfall of lights as a backdrop to their cake cutting! It was a really beautiful sight.
Then, a beautiful fireworks display to officially start the celebrations.
I’ll have to end on this note, I love this picture 🙂
